Intro to Dale Engman

Hello, I am Dale Engman and I teach 6th grade science, 7th and 8th grade technology, and the 8th MedLab B class at Indio Middle School in Indio, Ca., Desert Sands Unified School District.
I have also taught 6th,7th,and 8th grade science, 6th, and 7th math at Indio Middle School.
For one year I worked at the Science Museum of Minnesota (www.smm.org) in their school outreach program. I traveled the state of Minnesota and Western Wisconsin performing shows on specific science topics to over 90 schools and about 30,000 students.
In my free time I love to tinker with computers, read, golf, bowl, hike, and eat out at restaurants in the desert. I have been married for 6 years, and I have 2 cats and 3 dogs.

You have made some very good points about the use of technology. I thinkk I would be lost without it too! It is something thats has just became part of our everyday life.

Anita, Sam is a 23 lb orange cat and Zoe is a three legged calico. Zoe had one of her front legs eaten off. Long story short, we rescued her from the needle of death.

Jon, its good to see you online again.

Tyler, thanks. Is this the Tyler from the early etec 546 days (I think) or was it podcasting?

Hi Dale,

Thank you for your site, I did not think to link the course and BLOG addresses. That was great because on my comments I asked people to send me their BLOG addresses, now I can link them to mine and post at any time.
